Soleha believes that social change starts at the community level. As a result, Soleha is a charitable sector professional and founder of grassroots NGO Streethands, specialising in project consultancy and social action. In the course of her career she has strived to break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness, creating sustainable futures for vulnerable children.

Soleha is an active alumnus of the UN award winning Parliamentors Programme delivered by the interfaith charity, Faith & Belief Organisation, and now provides mentoring and advice to students setting up independent community change projects.

Soleha is a scholar at Aziz Foundation and holds an MA in Domestic Abuse & Sexual Violence from Goldsmiths University.
